Beautiful brewstand.
I have a similar setup (Brutus 10 design), and someone asked me if I was intending to install a CIP system. My response was "probably not". It took enough time to build the stand, tweek the equipment and start brewing great beer. I just want to enjoy it now.
Would it eventually be worth it? How long do you spend cleaning?

Very nice. One thing that I noticed is the the pump should be oriented horizontal with the outlet pointing up.

Sweet set-up. Very jealous. Good luck with it!

Thanks Dave
When I get home from the road I will be buying a large freezer for the 40 gal conical fermenter and them i will be able to ferment the whole batch rather than using 6 carboys.
why skimp now? go for a walk in! you'll want the space before long. I mean are you really only going to get the 1 40 gallon conical?
Pay no attention to me, just jealous

Looks nice. How is that cooling rig working for you? I went with a convoluted chiller and am not liking it.
Who did you go with for the tanks?
I love it, it went from 210 to 68 at about a gallon or a little less every minute, What is a convoluted chiller?
It's a coil chiller where a convoluted (twisted) copper pipe runs through a larger coiled copper pipe which carries the water for cooling. Mine is nowhere near as efficient as yours and requires too much wort circulation leading to cloudy beer. Need a PC just not decided on which one yet
Gorgeous system! Well done!Thank you, just tapped the first beer off of it and they are all good, Three yeasts Nottingham, Windsor and US-05, definetly like the US-05 the best Creamier mouth feel and a touch sweeter.
Nice Job! Stout kettles??

Excellent rig - great work! I'm curious what your propane tank freezing solution was?
It's great to see how brewers are really upping their game with the equipment configurations and selections! Awesome...! Fantastic job!
Interested in how fast you blow through a standard tank of propane with those particular ring burners. I have the NG versions and they are greedy...
Looks very cool! Have you used it yet? I ask because it looks like you haven't left space for exhaust fumes to escape from under your pots. This would lead to low oxygen, poor heating efficiency, and lots of CO and soot.
Do you use just one ball valve, I use 2 ball valves and open the one on the tun fully and adjust the one on the pump for flow rate, and I too use rice hulls to loosen the mash up. To follow that up I am mashing 50 to 80 lbs of grain and not sticking.
I have two. The one on the kettle is left wide open and I only adjust the one on the pump.
I am getting some new grains from a different source to test the crush. I'll be brewing again probably this coming monday. I'll also use more rice hulls than I did last time.
The other issue I have is i'm using the blichmann autosparge. Not for the actual sparging as the arm doesn't even reach the grain bed but rather for recirculation. If the flow rate is too high it just needs up shoving aside the grain and creating a pocket of sorts with nothing but a clear site of liquid straight to the false bottom.
