I just put my DIY Stir Plate project to use tonight.

Under $30 bucks from start to finish.

I had the hardware and the 12VDC power supply on hand.

The acrylic is enough for two.
The fan with four magnets creates a good vortex in a 1L flask.

I still have some Cyser left from Thanksgiving, and I've got 3 lined up to get through the next couple of weeks.

An Imperial Stout that I infused with nibs and vanilla bean in the secondary.
A Pale Ale 100% Otter and Citra
and Lastly a Holiday Spiced Ale.

I'll get my spring offerings nailed down during the Christmas Break. I have a sparkling cider that'll be ready, and I have everything for a rye. Have to figure out what I want for St. Paddys day.

This is my first time so not much help here, but I'm going to try zig-zagging the bines up and down from the ground to 8' and then back down...and repeat over and over.

If all grows as planned, I'll post up some pics as it goes.

I always seem to miss it...not this time.

I bought the last 4 pack in Dover.

Statewide there was only 10 cases allotted...maybe when the new site in NC goes operational we'll see more of the seasonal stuff.

I wrap the carboy with an ace bandage and put the temp control probe on one side and the external thermometer on the other. Works like a champ!

Snowtiger...sorry thats kind of misleading I was on vacation and broke my leg.

Broken leg = termination from company. I was prepared to stay awhile longer, like until 2014 and retire really early.
