Things like this will one day die out... perhaps it's futile, and best left alone.

He died in a bizarre gardening accident...

Authorities said... best leave it... unsolved.

saw them a few years back in nyc. sat in the first couple of rows. i laughed, i was awed, and wanted to go with everyone i knew just to see their reaction. what a great show. i'm not sure tv could really do it justice. the venue was smaller too, not like a big vegas show...i thought that added to it.

Yeast and Fermentation / what to do with s-33
« on: September 29, 2011, 12:30:58 pm »
so i'm making a dubbel this weekend. i'm currently at the inlaws on long island for the holiday and was killing some time, thought i'd check out a homebrew shop close by. was looking for some wyeast or white labs but the shop only had dry yeast, when i went for T-58 the owner said 'oh no, don't use that, use the s-33, it gives great belgian characteristics!'. i had somewhat remembered reading reviews of s-33 but decide to take the guys word for it and make the $3 purchase...well i get home, do some searches, and low and behold i read less than thrilling reviews of s-33 for belgian styles. when i get back to CT i'll venture off to get some abbey II or trappist...but now i have this packet of s-33...what the heck kind of yeast is this? i've heard it's a less attenuative english yeast? help? please don't say it's a dry edme yeast...i have read that and don't really know what it means... :(

it's not a vanilla porter but...denny's bvip is pretty awesome. if you have the better half of an afternoon and don't mind sifting through a gabillion posts i recommend making your way over to the northernbrewer forum and checking out denny's boubon vanilla imperial porter.

I've got an idle question. How can the Cowboys be America's team when there's no Cowboys bars in Pittsburgh, yet Dallas has at least a couple Steelers bars.   :D  (along with nearly every other large city in the US.)

now, I'm not trying to use Facebook for analysis purposes but apparently the Dallas Cowboys have 3million facebook friends. the next closest is the steelers with 2.5m. 90% of the rest of the league is pretty distant. i don't know if this really makes them the most popular or if it's because it's been so hot in texas this year people stay inside and surf facebook more than any other state giving them a better chance of friending a football organization. :-) all that said, i was blown away walking into a small nashua, nh bar and seeing the place filled with steeler fans...

Your problem is your GM. How about drafting better? Hard for Manning to get the ball down the field when he doesn't have a supporting cast.
eh, i've never been impressed by eli and/or coughlin. the year they made the miracle super run, half way through the season the two were about to get run out of town. now with hixon done...and steve smith looking like he's going to play this weekend for the green birds...things are looking great! :(
