Ohio? Jeeze, try getting a decent pizza in the Adirondacks (I was just there on vacation). It is by far the worst I've ever had.

Now I have yet another reason to get a wood stove soon.

Well, the mystery has been solved. Turns out we had a power failure while we were away. My poor beer probably got up to 70+ for a few hours. Hope it ends up ok.

This was 1028. Weird. Hope it turns out ok. I could barely get the starter to go. Guess it made up for that.

In five years of brewing I've only had a blow-off maybe twice, so I don't usually worry about it. This is the first time I've been able to keep the beer cool during the summer so maybe that had something to do with it...

I'm glad that you're happy and healthy and having fun, but next time I go on vacation could you please stay in the bucket where I put you? I really don't want to come home to a beer fridge full of glopy brown mess again.

Much like Wonder Bread and Cheeze Whiz, mega corporate brew has it's place. I don't want to eat or drink them often, but it's good to have them around when I'm in the mood for a cheeze whiz sandwich and and an ice cold bud lite.

I went about it a whole diferent way. I made my music portable with an iPod...for $150 you can get a small decent stereo in each room. Plug the mp3 player in and viola...

I know Denny just looked at his LP collection and sighed...and he is right...

I did the same thing. Kinda like an mp3 boombox. But I still have all my old records too.

The crisis has passed. Started drinking my hefe on friday. Glad its a fast beer. Had some hops issues, some temp issues, but it tastes good. This is also the first beer in the new house. Totally dif water. Hard well water, but so far so good.

Speaking of TJ's. I know they have some good beer, but my GF got me a 6 of their blueberry wheat recently.

Bleah.

Maybe there are better examples of this style, but I really hated it. It was so sweet, it was like drinking a wine cooler.

I don't want to offend anyone, but this is a total girl-beer.
