Speaking of TJ's. I know they have some good beer, but my GF got me a 6 of their blueberry wheat recently.
Bleah.
Maybe there are better examples of this style, but I really hated it. It was so sweet, it was like drinking a wine cooler.
I don't want to offend anyone, but this is a total girl-beer.

I bought a six of Sierra Nevada Kellerweis Hefeweizen.
It's ok, but I can't wait to drink the five galllons of Hefe in my bucket.
But at $10 a six, I'm going to have to find some Bud American Ale soon.

We moved in May. I pretty much moved the whole house myself, one mini-van trip at a time. I had no time for brewing, and I have now run out of beer. I have some in the fermenter, but it won't be ready for a little while. This is the first time I've actually had to buy beer sine 06.
It's a very strange feeling.
I'm off to the supermarket. Wish me luck.

Thanks! I moved to a new house in May and my hops are having a tough time. Most of them are growing, but I don't think I'll have much to harvest this year. Most years... I can't use them up fast enough...
I've bought hops a few times from other homebrewers over the years. It always works out just fine.

My relatives used to tell me the same thing. My beer is great. I should open a brewery. My response was always:
1. I don't want to borrow that kind of money from anyone. Those big fermenters look expensive.
2. While the actual making of the beer would be relatively do-able, it's all the marketing & sales b.s. that I have zero desire to deal with.
Thankfully not everyone feels the way I do, otherwise we would have no amazing craft beer.
