Yeast and Fermentation / age 6 months in bucket, lid won't seal

I brewed up a lambic last weekend and and put it in my brand new bucket with Wyeast Lambic blend for a 6 month primary. Now I can't get the lid to seal. Is this going to be an issue. It seems like it wouldn't be for three weeks or so with a normal beer but I'm worried it will be a problem for a long primary.
What are my options? I'm going to buy another lid today without the slots cut on the side to see if it will seal.  If that doesn't work should I rack to a carboy now while it's actively fermenting or wait a few weeks until it settles down or just keep it in the bucket with the leaking lid. I don't want to wait 6 months to find out I screwed this up.

Equipment and Software / What 10 gal fermenter?

I'm stepping up to 10 gal batches. I currently have several carboys of various sizes that I ferment in. Splitting the batch into two fermenters is an option and I'll do that on occasion for dry hop, yeast experiments etc.  I'd like to be able to ferment all 10 gal in one vessel. What do you use for 10 gal batches?

My wife has generously offered to give me her refrigerator from the kitchen "for free" to use as a fermentation fridge as long as I buy her a new one. The only problem is that it's a side by side and doesn't seem to be the best choice for holding more than one carboy at a time. Any ideas on modifications to make it work? Thanks, Kris

Events / GABF first timer

I'm heading to the GABF for the first time. I've got tickets for Friday farm to table and both sessions on Saturday. I think I need a strategy. I want to try everything but also want to feel human Sunday for the 7hr drove home. Any suggestions?
