Yeah I have temp control I am making a bohemian lager modeled after dos equis. Getting a fridge with temp control was one of the best things I bought bc I can lager and when it's too warm outside in can keep my fermentors at 68 degrees for ale.

I am trying to taste different styles. I have been brewing longer then I have been able to legallly drink so in the past I couldnt buy it I had to make it to try something different I had to brew it. Picking a style has been a shot in the dark traditionally for me.

So i am a little familiar with styles and such. I was wondering what kind of style should i get to enjoy this weekend?
What style is good for the month of april?
The liquor store by my house has hundreds of different craft beers from places and that all they do so my plan is to build a six pack of one style but from different breweries.
What are you thoughts?

So can you take a gravity reading after you carbonate it. B/c when i made this batch i screwed up so many times b/c i was super ADD and i didnt care what the abv was i just knew it was going to be over 6%. Now i am interested it figuring it out for the sake of learning

My first thought on looking at the picture. That red will suck the efficiency right outta your mash.
Why will it suck the efficiency out of it?
What my real question should be since i really only paid 10 bucks for it and all my other parts and such can be transfered to a different cooler later on and i want to get right into all grain b/c i have had the itch for like a year now will this cooler for the time being lol?

Also i had a 20 gift card to target and i cant justify paying 80 dollars for a cooler at the moment. If the 20 cooler doesnt work then i am only out 20 dollars.

I am a poor college student so i am trying to stay on the cheap.
And if i use this cooler for the time being later down the road i can buy the one you guys been talking about and change this cooler back and just using it for camping and such.
I have all the other parts so all that's holding me back is the cooler.
Will this one hold temp and could i get a alteast a 5 gallon 10abv beer out of this.
What abv does 1.100 get me?
