Saw this in another thread, so I'm not sure if it is true but it may be another glitch in the system not showing them.  The entries might still exist, but there's no way of knowing.

I have a similar situation. I had entered in Milwaukee, and my entries were confirmed.
Today when I log in to that site it states that I have no entries.
Should I worry, or is this just an undocumented feature....

Just a system quirk - AHA confirmed that this is to be expected. All existing entries will not be displayed but are not lost!

The same thing happened to me.  Got my 3 entries in with names and styles, unfortunately did not print the labels, but I did pay and get a confirmation e-mail for the fees. 

Up until now, I was one of the lucky ones to get my beers in properly.  Now more problems.

Also, starter motors heat up VERY quickly and likely wouldn't last very long when submitted to constant running.

While heating my mash, I recirc using a pitcher during heating with direct fire. A little labor intensive, but it works even for very light beers.

Ive heard of a brewery (moylans?) Who stored fresh hops cold in a co2 purged corny for months. You'd probably be fine for a few days.

That's what I'd do in that situation.  Should leave a similar amount of break material in the kettle like you would get with an immersion chiller.

You will actually get a better cold break in the kettle if you get to pitching temps there.  If you set up your recirc return so it generates a whirlpool, you can get the best of both worlds for the most part.

I used a 7.5gal fryer pot for a long time before upsizing my pot.  There were a few boilovers, but with a lot of attention and using some anti-foam (fermCapS) that problem can be dealt with.

It was just another step in the progression in upgrading my equipment.

I'd say, shoot low then adjust up with the forced carb a few days before the wedding.  Much easier to adjust up than down.

+1, this is part if my process now too. Don't let the water sit in the hose either, run for a few minutes if the hose is left off between uses on brew day.

I know I wouldn't want the steam to condense on the bolts and fall back into the kettle.  Between the risk of poison and the potential for a ferrous off-flavor, that's enough of a reason to stainless for me.

If you are above 180 or so for an extended amount of time, you'll get isomerization and IBUs even after the boil.  Either shift all your additions to account for this (40 min addition with long chill to replace 60min, etc) or get that immersion chiller fixed or replaced.
