DME is always the better choice. I don't know about your local homebrew shop but at mine theyre the same price so if I follow a recipe with LME then I just switch it to DME 3.3 lme = 3lbs DME the .3 is all water weight

so "dry" mossing it did not work. I did try boiling some in a small amount of water and pouring that in and presto! It worked, thanks for the help guys

Well I racked the beer yesterday because it needed to happen so I attempted it. It seems like it won't work from your guy's responses so if it doesnt then I'll go get some gelatin. I ended up just sprinkling some at the bottom of my fermentor(my sanitation habits need to improve). As for the yeast I used wyeast  American ale and it was bubbling nicely but after about 5 days it totally stopped, so it may be a yeast issue now that you've brought that up.

I forgot to add Irish miss in my last brew (an ipa) and its having some clearing issues. Could I "dry" Irish moss it? I don't really have enough room in my fridge to cold crash it. Should I boil the moss in a small amount of water just to be sure of sanitation? I need to tack it off the dry hops anyways

i went on vacation recently to wisconsin where we bought a variety pack of new glarus beers. Their pale ale really spoke to me, "moon man" http://www.newglarusbrewing.com/index.cfm/beers/ourbeers/beer/moon-man
i really liked the hop character it had towards the end of the palate and wanted to know if anyone knew what hops they used and which ones were most dominant. I am planning my next brew to be a pale ale, and i thought i might give these hops a shot if anyone knows what they are. Thanks in advance!

I agree with the statement that you dont need to ferment saisons as high as suggested. I made a saison not too long ago and I fermented it around 66 and it turned out fantastic.

I have a 7 and a half gallon bucket and recently I used wyeast whitbread ale for the first time the thing had a 10 hr lag time then exploded with activity I had krausen in my airlock and now it's permanently stained brown lol

There was a similar topic awhile ago in allgrain, but yes you would scale the Munich. As for sugars I would add a bit for dryness 75og to 50 ibus is a little malty for a pils isn't it?(I don't really brew many pilsners and when I do it's someone else's recipe)
