I own land in Columbus. I love Montana. A beautiful state.

What's the name of the brewery in Missoula. They make great beer there.

I am in  a Beer wasteland :'(  We have a few PNW brews around here, but not much. There is a health food store 90 mile to my north that has a small, but decent selection. I tried Lagunitas  IPA a couple nights ago, there was mold on the cap! Not impressed, to say the least. They do have 7or 8 Rogue beers, but nothing east of the Great Divide. If I ever get to a big city, I have a feeling I will be searching for many different brews.

Whereabouts are you?

This artist known as "The Godmother of Punk" is an American singer–songwriter, poet and visual artist, who became a highly influential component of the New York City punk rock movement with her 1975 debut album Horses.

Patti Smith singing "Because the Night", which was co-written with Bruce Springsteen and reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1978.

She is one of my favorite female singer/songwriters.

How bout some TAP!

They had a new album, Back from the Dead, was released on June 16, 2009. The album consists mostly of re-recordings of songs from the original film's soundtrack, as they would have sounded had they really existed and been recorded in a studio. So they say as I haven't heard any of that recording yet.

Yeah, too many brewpubs use the beer as a gimmick only - you have to be a great restaurant to be a good brewpub. The beer is only secondary. If I were to open a brewery it would be to focus on the beer only. I'd love to do a small tasting room with some appetizers or something - but I HATE restaurant work. Maybe someday down the road I could see doing that if someone else was willing to run that side. Right now, if I open a brewery, it will be production only. As Brewboy said, there's money to be made in production breweries - otherwise there wouldn't be any.

The implications are mounting.   ;D

Is it going to be a 7bbl system to start.  ::)

So for yesterday's brew, I jammed some Frank Zappa, Steely Dan, and Umphrey's McGee
I think last time I brewed to Zappa a little too much Cosmic Debris went into my fermenter......  ;)

For the better or for the worse?

Good move. You will be amazed at the freedom of choice and quality of beer.
