Yea, sorry, now I take back the eatin part.  You got a family to raise up there buddy.

Maybe when they go into production you can skewer a couple
without the Boy noticing  :-X

Household pets are cool,
but pets with kids are awesome.

Pics are now mandatory.

 :D,

Last year I was out on the public lands in winter,
visiting the areas that the sheep herds had just recently been taken off.

There, at the top of the hill where the sheep herder had sat to gaze off across the flock
was a Mendicino Brewing Black Hawk Stout bottle.

I was convinced that the picture on the bottle was the reason he bought it. ;D

If you keep 'em alive, won't they create lots of "pellets" you can use?

Feed them LOTS of hops! ;D

Man, they really are pretty cute little piggies.
Do they have good personalities?

It used to be that when it snowed,
the kids went out and tracked up the yard,
and the snowmen went up all around town.

We got a good foot of wet sticky snow the other day,
perfect for making balls.

I saw one snowman yesterday,
and it dawned on me that it was the only one I had seen.

Is this a dying tradition?  Do kids still do this where you live?

I thought Calvin and Hobbs could keep it alive,
but perhaps kids are too fat and lazy to go outside anymore. ::)

Loopy

It has been good,
I have certainly enjoyed your banter, knowledge, and character.
Good luck with the 010 garden, the kids, the outback resort, and Texas in general. 8)

Your mind cannot sit idle
best wishes to what ever you pick up next.

Cheers.

Peace out.

I found that if I give up my IPA for about a week,
when I do drink one
my taste buds think it is just about the most hoptastic thing imaginable. :o

Seriously, try it.

Already the grumpy, coin conscious commercial brewer...  :D

If the Majorvices knows what a good Kolsch tastes like
and it's with Crystal and a little more hop character,
spend the extra 10 bucks and do it up man.

Or, yea whatever, just get the cheapest 'merican made Hallertauer on the market and get her boiled up.
Its all good.

 ;)
Don't get too fired up at my rude comment, it is a good natured rib and while
I can appreciate calculating expenses....

I'm just saying
Don't compromise too much in your new endeavor!

Cheers.

General Homebrew Discussion / Re: Baltic Porter - Guideline ?
« on: February 09, 2010, 10:28:49 AM »
I think Special B is stronger than 120 in that respect.

I used both together once and it was too much for me,
some loved it though.

Thanks on the IBU report babalu, um yea, guess I never brew a baltic. Mine are way overhopped.  imperial american porter?  oh brother. ::)

I make my version of a Baltic with 2112,
it could contribute some of those qualities.

babalu, what IBU do you make yours to?
I was a little suprised that "the guidelines" top out at 40.
