I liked it.

Had to pick it up tonight
based on the Phrase of the Day for me....."slight crackeriness"

I love that.

Cheers to the weekend,
and a nice spring glissade.

sorry to admit
I am a seriously disgruntled Bronco fan.

I will only be in attendance come kick off
rooting for the Saints.

 ;D,

starting to see some rotation now.

Nightfall setting it, man that gives me goosebumps.
Can't imagine having to deal in the city though.  Ugh.

Stay in and stay safe!

David,

Thanks a lot for the information.
I am sure all of us here can appreciate
the idea of being mindful of what ingredients we put into our craft.

Hops Direct (Puterbaugh Farms) are good folks,
but typically take a little time to respond to inquiry.

I recommend persistence, and try the e-mail form.

Best of luck,
and happy brewing.

looks like she is coming in as a south'wester to me? ???

Yeast and Fermentation / Re: Wyeast 1450

I would have thought an SG that low would be fine to pitch a single pack without a starter... any thoughts on it?

IME, starters seem to be a good idea with this yeast.

But I bet you would be fine at 1.040.

Have Fun! :)

I am fairly certain that pesticides
have a negative effect on my head retention.

store crushed at Seven Bridges Organic Co-op.  Part of my simpler approach...could be something there.

You are onto something here. ;)

What is the difference between that and a Boston Lager?
besides 200 miles ;)

Taste.

 :D, nice.

I will try and do a little googlling
to amend my ignorance.

With this country
I am fascinated by diversity within a 200 mile radius.

Cheers to that.

Given that you have only 5 day, don't strech yourself too much.

+1,

sounds dreamy. It is fun to plan vacations in the winter.

Ingredients / Re: Citra Hops

   Called it "no lemon needed"
;D

Wow,  fantastic, I am really digging the Citrillo blend.

Mine was pretty close to Fred's Amarillo pale ale recipe
1.055
IBU to 51,
1450 yeast

even mix of Amarillo/Citra 6 ounces from 15 minutes on down,
dryhopped ounce each.

Interesting I get no real harsh bite, perhaps the hopburst.
