Wow, what a great (yawn) game last night. Notre Dame really showed us what all the legend was about .... I was asleep by the third quarter.....

The Pub / PC help - dern wifi won't work

Have had nothing but problems with the HP laptop since I got it. Not the wifi suddenly is not working. Looked at troule shooting guide, followed all steps. Nothing.
I'm a Mac guy so I can usually solve issues on macs no problem but I'm not sure if I am missing something here or what. Any suggestions?

Commercial Beer Reviews / Duvell adn Duvel Singl

About once every 2 or three weeks I stop and get a 4 pack of Duvel. Just love that beer. Easy drinking, lemon like refreshing hop character, dry enough to make it a thirst quencher even at 8.5% ABV and a rocky head unparalleled by just about any other beer. It's become my answer to "pilsner drinking" in some ways.
Really wish we could get the Duvel single in bottles, I really love that beer as well and order it on draft at my local.
Just thought I sing the praises of a well done and often under appreciated beer.

The Pub / DVD/Blue Ray player w/HDTV receiver .... come in and laugh at how dumb I am!

So, for some reason, my 5+ year old flat screen TV will not pick up HD signal over my antenna anymore. Something in the TV will allow me to switch to other options (video games, DVD player, etc) but when I go to watch HDTV over the airwaves it won't turn on the receiver. I thought about getting Direct TV, but decided not too.
So I considered getting a new DVD player or Blue Ray to run my HDTV through the player instead. But I can't seem to find any description that says it has an HDTV receiver built in on any of the one's I have looked at. I really want to watch football Sunday. Any help? Do these things come standard and they just don't make mention or what?

Ingredients / Lemon zest post fermentation

Anyone ever add fresh lemon zest to the beer post fermentation? If so, how much did you use? I was thinking the zest of one large lemon per 5 gallons. Now I'm thinking half of that. Anyone with any experience in the mater I'd appreciate your feedback.

Other Fermentables / Racking wine, lots of sediment, adding more plums

Made a plum wine several weeks ago and it is in secondary and needs racking. I was hoping the sediment would drop more but looks like I am going to lose about 1/4 of the batch to sediment. Should I go ahead and rack off the sediment now or give it some more time to see if it collapses any more. It's been in secondary prolly three weeks.
Also, I have another gallon or so of plums in the freezer that I had planned on racking the wine onto. If I do this should I add more yeast and pectin enzyme?
