Beer Travel / goin' on a beer vaca.

we plan on going on vaca tomorrow, heading east to iowa and wisconsin and then to minnesota ,got a few breweries planned out but i just see on tv that its going to rain for the next 3-4 days. now that wouldn't be an issue but we're going on a motorcycle . oh well we have rain suits and the breweries have roofs. we will survive.

i was looking through the latest BYO magazine and on page 9 is an ad for  ruby street brewery. never gave it much thought but this afternoon i was working at my convenience store and a pickup with said logo pulled up and i got to talking to them. it was the owner  so i got to talking to him and he gave me the run down on his system, its a nice  setup. they are out of fort collins colo.

has anybodys spruce trees started producing new growth yet? i want to make a spruce beer but our trees just haven't started growing yet.

i was the one that won the zymurgy giveaway contest and just wanted to say thanks to aha and highgravitybrewing. put my order in last night and am going to get some really cool stuff that i probably wouldn't have gotten otherwise.
