I hate to "hijack" a thread, but I would like some more information on beer in the Czech Republic. I'm planning a trip to Prague in November and am interested in beer near the city center. Three good ideas so far, but three posting pages to get there...

Keep in mind that with Mr Diesel designed his engine his plan was to make if run on vegetable oil.  It was later that petroleum companies made "diesel" fuel the standard.

In my Internal Combustion Engine course a long time ago, it was stated that Dr. Diesel's first experimental engines worked on coal dust, as Germany has coal. The abrasion of internal parts made that idea a non starter so to speak.

Back to beer in Praha.
