Ha, probably true.  It was snowing pretty hard already when I would have had to make that decision.  If after I bought it the skies miraculously cleared and the stars started shining I would have counted it as a good purchase anyway.

I'm surprised the guys selling snowblowers out of a truck haven't popped up yet.  In Dec 08 when we had the ice storms in New England, we were without power for 6 days and some for up to 2 weeks.  Trucks popped up everywhere selling generators at about 100-150% markup.

Meh.  I have a conference call/ web meeting at 11:00.  The plant may be closed, but the wheels still turn.   Already been out three times to clear a place for the dogs and the driveway.  Whiteout conditions presently, can barely make out my shed.  We've gotten about a foot so far, probably get another foot.  On the plus side, I'm making steak au poivre for dinner tonight.

White out conditions as I type. I cleared the driveway an hour ago and there is three more inches on it now. I will clear it with the snowblower on the next round. The snow is fluffy but yet on the heavy side.  The dogs are loving this especially my Lab.

No worries here, the wind seems to be clearing it off the roof pretty well.

Looks like it's pretty much over here.  I've only got about 5 or so inches in my driveway.  Some major drifting around the neighborhood though.

The snow has stopped here but the wind is still bad.  No work again tomorrow.  Cabin fever is setting in.  I keep thinking "redrum" for some reason?

If you can get to Philly, to Cappos shop! Just in honor of you guys out east getting pounded I plowed the drive way with the pick-up. Man I have been there and I can't wait to get to Florida by Blatz or Oregon by Denny or Ca by Drew!
