i bid you all fare well...
« on: May 12, 2012, 06:08:11 AM »
I'm on my way to International Beer Fest in Cleveland, Oh. If I don't make it back, I love you all. I want Major to have my saw. My bacon of the month will automatically be shipped to Boulder, and I want my turtle collection to go to Denny. Good bye, brothers.

So apparently there is a good reason to show up in Cleveland outside of the river catching on fire?

Well, I arrived home safe. I fared a lot better than my buddy. He dry humped a large lepruchan statue, puked on himself, and feel asleep leaning on top of a urinal.
Had some very good beers. I really hate to say it, but I think my highlight was the IIRC Pre prohibition 19, brewed by GASP! Budweiser. Say what you want. My flame suit is on. But it was great!

He's back? Rats. I could have used a new saw.

FWIW one f the best doppelbocks I ever tasted was a "brewmasters collection" fom "gasp" Budweisser. It was spot on perfect and rivaled some of the  best German ones I've tasted.

The guys at AB are definetly some of the best brewers in the world.  Unfortunetly they choose to brew s***ty beer most of the time.  However, it is a very fine example of s***ty beer.
