We went test driving some cars ( nothing exciting, just family sedans - I'm not quite at my mid-life crisis yet ), then went to one of our favorite Italian restaurants for dinner.  Finished it off with some Ben & Jerry's ice cream.

The waves were small, but we netted some great tasting talapia from Waipio stream and grilled them.  Then we crossed the valley and hiked to the top of the "Z" trail.  The view from up there is breathtaking.  It is where they shot the final scene in the movie Waterworld.

A most highly excellent Fathers' Day!
