The $80 stainless steel steins are a bit pricy too.  I wonder how many real paying customers this site has?

Where the heck are we going?  And what's with this hand basket?

Probably more than you'd think.  They've been around for many years selling expensive toys to people with too much money.

Someone who previously lived in my house is on that mailing list. I get the catalog all the time. kind of fun to look through. I tried to talk my wife into letting me get the $40,000 1 person orka submarine but she said no  ::)

looks like a single tier brew stand to me. you still have to mill the grain, mix it into the mash water and decide all your variables. That being said 45k is ridonkulous

It's nothing more than Sharper Image but for douchebags. For $45,000 you could start your own brewery on a small scale and with used equipment.
In the fermenter:
Standard Bitter
SMaSH w/cranberries and jasmine tea

Up coming brews:
Rye IPA

I agree.

Does it keep the fermenter chilled?

+1 - England, France and Italy all have a lot of used equipment for (somewhat) reasonable prices
