Stop cheering.  I have been putting up new vinyl siding.  i have a difficult spot to reach.  i have built the temporary scaffolding below and anchored it to the house.  i need to get to a second story soffit and then the freeze boards, fascia going up the roof line.  Tomorrow morning after rounds, and after i make sure my disability is current, I will put in the screw eyes for a safety harness, then proceed.  But if i am not back to finish this thread, well, drink one for me.

Just don't get too absorbed in the project that you forget what you're standing on. It's easy to do after a while.

Isn't he a doctor?  So, then he'd get a members discount or he could do any minor surgery (like a hammersphincterectomy) at home with a mirror and a couple homebrew.  I think he's got this covered.

survived.
this morning i went to attach the screw eyes for the safety harness and realized i didn't like how narrow.  more than strong enough.  i widened it about another two feet.  i took plenty of breaks during the miserable heat.  i have the corner above the overhang built and the fascia extended to within a few feet of the peak.  i will move the scaffold out of the way tomorrow after work and then run the siding.  when it gets high enough i will replace the scaffold, but the overhang part is  finished, then finish the last fascia.
