« on: July 31, 2012, 10:34:50 PM »
One of my best friend's Euge lost his father just recently. I want to raise a toast to the man that gave us Euge. You may or may not have been the best in life but you gave your best when you made your son and one of my best friends. For this I salute you!  SALUTE'!

Euge, I did not know this happened.  I am sorry for your loss.

I did not know the man, but I imagine he was a man of honor and mistakes like my own father was.  Euge, I am saddened by the loss you had, and raise a toast high to the memories of what once was.

There are always good times to remember.

Thanks guys. Eugene was a WW2 vet- a marine in the Pacific theater. A mechanical and petroleum engineer. A product of the Great Depression. A loving husband and father. Absolutely my inspiration and hero.

Gave him a beautiful funeral yesterday surrounded by friends and family. So now we are on the way to Izard county, Arkansas to plant him in the family plot.

God bless.

You have my sympathy, Euge.  Your father had a long and interesting life. I will raise a glass in his honor.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss.  We'll keep him (and his family) in our prayers.

It may sound odd but enjoy your time with family you don't see often.  Good visits come out of sad events.
