leaky keg top
muddypuddle:
I have 1 corny keg that is giving me fits. it seems like it is pressurized and then there is a slow leak of CO2. i have tried 3 or 4 other keg lids on this one keg. is there a lube or sealant that i can use to seal this thing?
thanks for your time-
Phil

When I have that happen, 90% of the time a coating of Keg Lube on the o ring fixes it.

+1. Also tapping the lid with a hammer (with the gas hooked up) helps to seat the lid where the keg wants it.

thanks! specific brand of keg lube? any respectable LHBS will have it, right?
thanks
denny:
IIRC, mine is just called Keg Lube, and yeah, I get it at the LHBS.
