truth serum
« on: March 12, 2013, 05:51:29 am »
I heard this morning that the alleged shooter in the Aurora massacre could get Truth Serum.

Never heard of that, other than 007 James Bond stuff.  Do common folk have access to this serum?
I could think of a few applications. ;)

Is this guy crazy?  Creepy for sure.

edited to remove overly creepy mug shot of alleged perp.

Sodium Pentothal.  Removed inhibitions and makes you more willing to talk.  I don't think it's necessarily truth serum, but you're so relaxed you'll probably give something away.

Hell, a few beers work does the same thing for me.   I myself wouldn't mind being wrapped up in Wonder Woman's golden lasso  ;D  (Whoops...too much truth there)

Creepy, crazy, worthless, candidate to scrub warp conduits...take your pick.

Kid definitely looks creepy, I think you could probably attribute it to him being off his med's too long. I feel sorry for kids like this that are obviously troubled and misguided and can't find the help they need. At that age I was trying to get laid and drink as much fizzy yellow water as I could. Apparently that kept me on the right track! Who knew?!?

That would be a great name for a beer.

 8) What kind of beer?

I might imagine something sneaky and not too heavy.

Tripel perhaps?

Or a giant Maibock, or maybe Saison. With a touch of dry hops to further mask the booze. Hmm... sounds like a fun experiment.
