NB Crush
« on: November 12, 2009, 08:36:27 PM »
How's the standard crush if you order crushed grains from Northern Brewer?  I'm just getting back into the game and the cost of my equipment wish list is a little higher than I'm willing to spend at the moment.  So I'm thinking of just grabbing the essentials and leaving a mill for a little bit later date.   I used to have a Corona mill but it's gone now.  RIP.

It's coarse, but within the normal range. If you're used to a Corona you'll probably want to bump up the grain bill by ~10%.
Beer is like porn. You can buy it, but it's more fun to make your own.
