One of my acoustics-   Guild F65CE   Plays and sounds like a dream-   maple body and neck, ebony fretboard, pearl inlays.    its pretty thin, only 2 1/2", really made to be plugged in.

HEY NOW!!!  ;)

It's a concert, Chauncey.  I'm thinking about picking up a bari, too.  OTOH, I'm closing my studio at the end of the month and bringing home a bunch of guitars and basses from that.....I'm running out of storage space!

Business is down, but mainly my partner and I are burned out on it after 28 years.  Owning a recording studio sounds cool, but after that long it's just a job you have to go to everyday.  Plus, although I love audio engineering, I hate running a business and all that entails.

I understand that... After being a professional musician for most of my life it is anything but glamorous. Take some time... Gather your thoughts and get on with it

Anything but glamorous....yeah, a couple years on a tour bus brought THAT home!  I'll still be in the audio game engineering at the performing arts center here.  The upside of that is great benefits besides a decent salary.  I'm gonna set up a small Pro Tools  studio at home for screwin' around.  And I hope to finally get started on writing a book.
