What flavors does the 40L amber Belgian candi syrup add to a beer?

Man the D2 is good stuff IMO. It imparts a dark fruity plum flavor and is wonderful in Dubbel styles

I love and frequently use both the dark and D2. The other varieties, though, I haven't found to make much of a flavor contribution.

Well I had been thinking about using it in an Abbey Singel, but decided to go the all-grain route. I have used the D1 before and liked it. I have a 1.5lb jug of both D2 and D1 to use in darker styles once this singel gets me some yeast grown
