Whatcha Brewin' this week -- 2009 Nov 4-10?
« on: November 04, 2009, 05:38:40 am »
One of the bonuses of being self employed (alright, unemplyed  ::) ) I get to brew on a WEDNESDAY!! I'll also be smoking some salmon. Beautiful fall day.

I'm brewing a FWH Kolsch and a Wezienfest (a cross between a Hefeweizen and an Oktoberfest).

Wish me luck on the FWH Kolsch. I'm using crystal hops. Just trying something different but I may chicken out at the last minute.  :-[

I should brew something, but need to keg and clean fermenters first.  That in itself is demotivating!! :-\

Bluesman and I are doing a joint BVIP next weekend.  I'm thinking about squeezing in a Centennial IIPA this weekend if time permits.

Not brewing this weekend, just kegging 10 gallons of Sweet Stout.  Might brew next weekend.  Thinking about a Strong Scotch Ale, Smoked Porter (smoking my own grains) or maybe a Schwarzbier. GAWD I love this sport!!! ;D
If Homebrew & BBQ aren't the answer, then you're askin' the wrong questions... Cheers!!!

Hi all! 10 gallons of Dean Larson's SNCA clone. A few weeks late, looking for work is getting in the way of brewing!  :(

I got no room! Every keg full . . (And that's about 90 gallons of beer and cider) Brewed 11 gallons of my 50/50 amber ale at the Cigar Brew Fest last weekend and honestly don't know where I'm going to put it.  ???

But that doesn't stop me from wanting to brew. I REALLY want to make Skot's Traquair House clone, or Chumley's variation of same.
Just brew it...

Its funny.. I'm completely planning on brewing tomorrow. Ain't got a clue what. Suppose I'll have to look through the yeast and malt supplies when I get home.

A Sierra Nevada Clone. My favourite beer. I went on a cruise to Alaska and drank my first SNPA. Since then, ( 2005 ) I just had to find a good clone for this wonderful beer. Glad I did.

I did that one last weekend.  What a great recipe!

I can't decide... either I'm gonna finally try the Pliny the Elder clone despite my wimpy boil pot, or a clone of Lucky Lab's SuperDog.  The Pliny recipe is daunting.
