In Carlsbad where I should be it's snowing.  In Mobile AL where I am it's 60F, hot and humid.  And in my parents' house it's closer to 80 freaking degrees because my old parents think it's cold outside.

I'm freezing just reading about it!

If I get a hankerin' for cold and snow I go up to the summit of Mauna Kea and watch a sunrise or sunset.  A few hours of temps in the teens is enough to last me for a year or so.  :D

Yeah, that camera is pau.  After taking that shot the lense cracked and the shutter froze.

It's F-ing 60 degrees here tonight! (that's minus 12 on the Hawaiian scale)  Cold snap!!

Before you snicker, you should know that most of the exterior walls in my home are all windows, and the windows are only screens.  That cool breeze coming down off of Mauna Loa tonight feels like an Alberta Clipper!

3 day "Wind Event" gusting to near 70 mph. Sustained 35-45 mph. Started yesterday
and still howling this morning. NWS says it is to continue till tomorrow....on the up side,
it was a balmy 43 degrees above zero last night for the low...snow is melting fast.

Man, I'm glad we aren't getting that. Highs in the 30s, though, and no snow in the forecast. :(

Normal weather again here-25F in the morning, 55-70 by lunchtime, and not a cloud to be seen anywhere.
