I just bought some of this because my LHBS didn't have any Carafa left. Is this a good substitution? What is the flavor like because I plan on making an India Black Ale?

I used a whole pound of it in my recent india black ale. It's yummy. Smooth roasty flavor, perfect for dark hoppy beers, you won't be disappointed.

Good to know. I tasted some and it tasted like expresso.
