Black Walnut Cherry Ale

I was wondering if anyone had ever tried or thought about trying to make a beer using black walnuts with sour cherries. I was thinking a Northern English Brown Ale with toasted Black walnuts and sour cherries into the secondary.   :-\

I say go for it.  And don't forget to bring me a bottle when it's ready.  It might even go better in a stout or porter.  Just a thought.

I was thinking about adding a smidgen of cherry juice to the secondary as well.
