Well, the brewer at our local Rogue drove over to the brewery in Newport to pick up some Mt. Hood, so it looks like I'll be brewing a batch of Rye IPA at the Rogue here.  If you're in the Eugene area, it should be on tap in a few weeks.

that's way cool - what size batch are you doing?

20 gal.  Rogue bought a tricked out B3 system just for our club's use.  They also supply the ingredients.  Nice people!

Awesome Denny!

Planning a big brew day, 15 gallons of bitter, 10 gallons of ABA, and 5 gallons of Brown Porter. Need to get the kegerator filled for the summer.

Brewing a pale ale I like to call, "Lighten up, Francis" on Sunday.  Simple recipe, 18% rye, maris otter for base, some crystal, and single hopped with cascade.  Using WY1450 for this one.

All by yourself?  That is a hell of a brewday.  Your back may be a little tight on Sunday.

Wednesday's birthday brewday pushed to today. Just mashed in on a 10g batch of SSoS.  8)

Happy belated b'day, man!

Thanks Denny! Smooth brewday, can't wait to try this one, never had it. It only calculated out to 142 IBUs... ;D 2 oz whole hops and 12oz pellet hops made a big pile at the bottom of the BK...  Yum!

And just like that - brew is done and wrapped up.

Let's see.. started at 6:15 or so. Finished the run-off at 9PM. Hung out with my lady fair until 10:15 or so Finished at 1:00AM. So about 6 hours or so. Not bad.

That combo is making my mouth water. Sounds wonderful.
