I'm trying to squeeze in some brewtime on Monday, provided that it's not 100 degrees.  It's going to be the Rebel Red Ale from Northern Brewer http://www.northernbrewer.com/brewing/recipe-kits/limited-edition-beer-kits/rebel-red-ale-limited-edition-all-grain-kit.html

Primary: Ale So Brown, Blasphemy, Incriminating ESB,

It's been a hectic month but I'm finally getting a brew day in on Saturday.  Plus the family is out of town so I'm gonna make it a double session.  ESB and Strong Golden Ale.  Unfortunately it will be very hot out most likely.  Hopefully I'll be able to get my butt moving very early and try to beat the heat as much as possible.

Dry hopping an IPA, and hopefully brewing an APA, assuming my brewing equipment hasn't melted in this heat.

Brewing an amber ale and if the wheat ale is ready to keg, I will do that too.
Everyone should believe in something. I believe I'll have another beer.

Kegging up my house APA to free up a fermentor for my new IPA recipe.  This will be my first use of Citra and I'm looking forward to seeing the results.

Saturday is our inaugural "Delaware State Fair - Battle of the Brews Homebrew Competition". I am the judge coordinator. We have some 200+ beers to judge. It's going to be a hot one...and one not to miss. Come One ...Come all !

No brewing this weekend. The Quad is happily fermenting and smelling magnificant.

I've been asked to help judge the St. Pete Cask Ale festival Saturday.  They expect about 40 firkins!
No brewing.  Might be time to keg the smoked porter.

Jeffy is such a giver.  40 firkins...wow.  That's humanitarian aid right there.   8)

Looks like oatmeal stout and a bunch of kegging/bottling are on the schedule for me.

cheers--

I have been told I have to serve an Oktoberfest at a September company function, and I don't want to serve the one I have had lagering since April (great beer should not be wasted on co-workers), so I'm thinking about cranking an O'fest out with the Rasenmäher Lager Yeast (got a yeast cake of that all ready to go).
