Providence beer trip
« on: August 25, 2011, 07:40:14 PM »
I'm heading down to Providence, RI for two days over Labor Day weekend. Any suggestions for beer bars or breweries?
Primary: American wheat, Dry Irish Stout
Secondary: dark doppelbock, pale doppelbock

Providence is a really underrated town.  There are a number of craft beer bars, none of which I've been to, so I won't comment on them.

Of the two brewpubs in town, Trinity and Union Station, I thought the beer was much better at Trinity.

The Mews is pretty good, though not in Providence.
