Even with 14,000ft. high mountains the Big Island is still over the horizon from O`ahu.

Yeah, it's tough to catch em when they hit you on the numbers. 

Matt Moore has really matured as a starter.  He reads the D set and sees developing plays well, and is accurate with the long ball.

I don't think I saw a single fins game all season.  He must have caught some passes though, to make it to Hawaii.

Resisting the temptation to gloat a bit (I am a Dolphan, after all), that was a pretty doggone good Superbowl. I am quite pleased with the outcome (being a Dolphan, after all).  Congrats to the G-Men!  You guys definetly earned the Lombardi this tear.

Now the seven month wait for the begining of football season. 

Thank God baseball season is only 2 months away!

I thought it was pretty good all things considered - I grew up on her soft core videos, so even though I don't really like her music I don't mind her.  I thought it was hilarious that she had LMFAO on stage with her though!  I wonder how many people recognized them . . .

  Missed it live, there was a lot more talking than actual watching of the TV at the party we went to.  But I DVR'd the game, so I just found the commercial and watched it.  Good stuff.

In spite of my bluster about the football season ending three weeks ago, I am a huge NFL fan.  I could not resist watching the Championship Game without great interest.  I had the incredible honor of being able to watch the game at the military R&R hotel on Waikiki, the Hale Koa. 

My father is a WWII Navy vet and USAF retired.  He and my mom flew in from Orlando for a visit.  My wife, son, and I flew to O`ahu to be with them.  We stayed at the Hale Koa.  Watching the Superbowl in Derrusy Hall with about 500 others made what I had written off as a excercise in boredom a very enjoyable event.
