It's the greasy, grimy, ghoulies edition of Weekend Brewing - are the cauldrons cacophonous? are the kettles kabooming? Are the yeast yelling?

I'm hoping I can convince my wife that I can brew and work in the yard at the same time.  If successful, I'll be brewing a Czech Pilsner with lots of Czech Saaz!

kegging 10gal of NGP while brewing 12gal of Robust Porter - still noodling on if I want to have the roasted grains in the mash or add just before sparge - decisions, decisions...

Brewing an ordinary bitter to get a yeast cake for an old ale. And kegging a sweet stout.

Nothing brewing this weekend.  Have to do some equipment maintenance.  The doppelbock from last weekend is happily bubbling away.  It's supposed to be cold and rainy here, may see some snow flurries.  Next up will be a DIPA.  Lost another furry friend last week.  Second one this year.  RIP Mister :'(

I will be brewing a Fat Tire clone and a Winter Warmer this Saturday.  As well as trying to ignore the leaves in the yard.

Sorry to hear of your loss again. That really hurts.  :(

Maybe you can dedicate the DIPA to him.

I have to keg a tripel and organize my cellar. Lots of little odds and ends to take care of this weekend.

A slightly modified version of my golden strong ale... Been trying different variations of specialty malts, and hops. This will be the 5th iteration...

Thanks Paul.  We are all starting to show our age 'round these parts.  He was a real gentleman, as dogs go.
