I had a great moon shot on Thursday night, looked up just in time to catch it coming up over the mountain.

The perceived size of the moon on the horizon has to be the oldest trompe l'oeil known to humankind. 8)

So, what?  You think the moon never has sunspots?    ;)

Last night's moonrise was amazing.  I finished up an all day job, stepped out of a basement, and there was a gorgeous moon rising behind Mauna Kea.  Man I love living here!
