no brewing & the new electric brewery is now as complete as I can get it before I am ready to move, so nothing to work on; *sigh*
at least there is always QC to be done

Today we made a Sister Star of the Sun IPA. Does that count, as it is a little early?

If I had planned ahead I would have done a Nigel Tufnel tribute, but oh well. I've got a bitter and an IPA in fermenters that I can check up on. Or rake leaves and clean up the yard.

I don't think I'll have time to brew this weekend, but I do plan on starting my beer drinking tomorrow at 11am, and then drink 11 pints before 11pm. Mystical enough for me...

Ordered ingredients for a Chimay clone, but looks like they will not get here until Saturday. Therefore, I may have ot stop in my travels tomorrow and pick up some ingredients for a French Saison.

My first all-grain batch. I am going to try the "Pliny the Toddler" recipe from the last Zymurgy.

I was going to brew up a strong golden ale but I've got too much else to do this weekend and too much to do at work to take a long weekend, so I guess this one gets bumped. Sucks because it'll be several weeks before I can find the time to brew again. Oh well, the kegs and fermenters are mostly full at this point. I should be able to make it through without dying of thirst

11/11/11 and there's a full moon. That's cool.... But just a little creepy - like Mike McDole on last weeks sunday session
. So in honor of one of my brewing heros I will be doughing in a Janet's Brown at 11:11. I'm going to be up all night but theres no other appropriate time to start.
