My girlfriend and I have just got the entire run on DVD and she loves it. She somehow never watched tv the first 40 years of her life, but she is hooked on NE now. It is fascinating to me all the cultural things she is unaware of by never watching tv. I will say something like "It was just like that episode of Gilligan's Island/Star Trek/The Brady Bunch etc." and she has no idea what I'm talking about.

Definately some good shows, it's too bad Deadwood never enough seasons to do in justice.

Well it petered out in the end. The story was over. That was a fantastic two seasons though! +1 I thought the lines in the second season were a bit over the top. I was reminded of Shakespeare in some odd way.

 The Ms.'s favorite of all time. I had to get her the DVD box set for Christmas. She has watched it a dozen times.

 Joanie Stubbs was hot indeed. Yes she was. I liked her a lot. I mean really a lot. Maybe too much. Not like an obsession or anything but I'm glad the Ms. wanted the box set. I enjoy the scenes with Joanie in them.

Kim Dickens is also in Treme.  Different character, but still pretty hot.  Great series!
