Thank you for your interest! AHA Evange-Ale-ists help the AHA remain a grassroots organization. We are excited to have your help as an ambassador of homebrew!

Talking Points

Please use the AHA membership benefits or an AHA membership form when promoting AHA membership. Another resource is the History of Homebrewing. Also, see tips to sign-up members at the bottom of this page.

AHA Event Kits

AHA marketing materials are available to help with your AHA or homebrew presentation. Available materials include, but are not limited to the following:

• Zymurgy: An Introduction to Homebrewing: A special edition of Zymurgy magazine created just for the first-time homebrewer. These are great for club meetings, beer festivals and homebrewing events.
• AHA Logo, 8x11 poster - or....
• AHA Banner with return UPS label - Please allow 2 weeks for shipping; you must also provide adequate notice of an event to reserve a banner.
• Helpful advice on table-top displays or brewing demonstrations.

Club Web Banners

AHA web banners are an easy and effective way to make a profit for your homebrew club. Club members simply click on the AHA web banner from your website and are redirected to the AHA's online store. One-, two-, and three-year US, International, or Household memberships purchased by that click-through earns money for your club. Checks are mailed quarterly to the club treasurer.

Tips to Sign-up AHA Members

• Explain the benefits of AHA membership to new AHA members.
• Encourage new members to fill in the membership form in Zymurgy: An Introduction to Homebrewing, to join at HomebrewersAssociation.org or via your club's web banner.
• Current membership dues are listed on the AHA membership form and online.
• Acceptable forms of payment are check, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. Send checks with the AHA membership form; fill in the credit card number on the form or online. Please do not send cash in the mail!
• Inform the new or renewing AHA member which issue of Zymurgy s/he should expect to receive. Zymurgy mails at the end of each even numbered month.
• Inform new members they will receive a new member packet, including an AHA membership card, within 3-4 weeks.
• Please promote HomebrewersAssociation.org as a resource for new members.
• Mail, scan or fax AHA membership forms, with attached payment, within 48 hours to the AHA with 48 hours.
