GABF Garners Media Attention for Homebrewing
An article in The Denver Post published the opening day of the Great American Beer Festival highlights where many of the craft brewers in attendance got their start—homebrewing.
"They (homebrewing and craft brewing) kind of feed on each other," said Gary Glass, director of the Boulder-based American Homebrewers Association. "The more people get exposed to craft beer, the more people are inclined to start home-brewing."
With an estimated 750,000 homebrewers in the U.S., it's no wonder we have such an amazing craft beer scene. Glass says the fastest growing segment of homebrewers are people in their mid-20's. Great news for keeping the hobby growing and the future of craft beer.
