Women love beer and more women than ever (in recent history) are actively brewing professionally and at home. CraftBeer.com recently published an article by Julia Herz of the Brewers Association exploring the phenomenon and recognizing just a few of the women leading the way in homebrewing and the beer industry.

Very flattered, but those who know me will laugh at the notion of me being "influential". I am certainly not to be compared to those other women who truely do have an impact on the Homebrewing community.

I'd like to add Jennifer Hermann and Roxanne Westendorf of the Bloatarian Brewing League in Cincinnati. Both have done much for homebrewing not only for women but for their club and our region.
