Volunteer

We're looking for a few good homebrewers!  The AHA has a variety of opportunities for AHA members to contribute their time and expertise into making this a better organization for all homebrewers. See below for a current list of volunteer opportunities.

Insurance

Have some expertise in insurance? We are looking for advise for homebrew clubs on what kinds of insurance they might want to consider and how to go about setting up a policy. Contact AHA Director Gary Glass for more details or to volunteer your time.

Legal

We are looking for people with a legal background to help research laws relevant to homebrewers. Contact AHA Director Gary Glass for more details or to volunteer your time.

Video

We are looking for homebrew how-to videos.  Have a great video on how to make a yeast starter?  How to properly read a hydrometer?  How to…well you get the picture.  Send us your videos for consideration to post in the videos section of HomebrewersAssociation.org. Send videos to the AHA.

Competitions

We need judges and stewards for the 2014 AHA National Homebrew Competition. See the National Homebrew Competition site for information on regional judging locations and dates.

Homebrewopedia Moderators

We need volunteers to help populate the Homebrewopedia with recipes and brewing terms, as well as to monitor posts and comments to the wiki. Contact the AHA Governing Committee's web subcommittee for information on volunteering.

Club Resources Contributors

We are looking for homebrew club members to submit articles for the Club Resources wiki on topics relevant to club events, running a club, and club finances. All club members are welcome and encouraged to post profiles of their club in the Club Profiles section of Club Resources as well as links to club newsletters. Contact the AHA Governing Committee's clubs subcommittee for information on volunteering.

Host an Event

Plan to register a site for Big Brew (May 3, 2014), Mead Day (Aug. 3, 2013), and Learn To Homebrew Day (Nov. 2, 2013). See individual sites for information on how to register a site.
