2011 National Homebrewers Competition (NHC)

Judging for the First Round of the NHC is held in April in 9 U.S. cities and 1 location in Canada. 

2011 First Round Winners

In order to be fair to all entrants of the National Homebrew Competition, the winners lists for all 10 competitions are posted simultaneously.  If competitions are still being judged, no winners can be posted.  The competitions run through April, so the winners lists are posted here during the first week of May.

Final Round jugding takes place in conjunction with the National Homebrewers Conference (HBC), this year held June 16-18, in San Diego, California. The winners were announced at the HBC Grand Banquet and Awards Dinner on June 18, 2011.  The Awards Ceremony was podcast live by The Brewing Network and instant replay is available on their site.

AHA Club of the Year Award for 2011

Congratulations to The Brewing Network club winning the AHA Club of the Year award for 2011!  Here are the point totals for the top 25 clubs in the 2010-2011 competition year.  AHA clubs earn points for placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in each of the six Club-Only Competitions (COC); placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the First Round of the National Homebrew Competition; and placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the Final Round of the NHC.
