Site Registration FAQ
Do I have to register on the site?
No. However, if you want to comment on a story or post to the AHA Forum you are required to register.
If I register on the site am I a member of the American Homebrewers Association?
No. Please visit our Membership section to learn more about how to join.
Why are there two places to input my email address?
When you register on the site we will send you an activation email to the email address you provide. If you are also 'linking' your memership to your site registration we need to send you a different activation email to the email address we have associated with your membership in our database. Ahh technology!
I'm a member of the AHA, why do I have to 'link' my membership to my site registration?
We have added Member-Only content to the site exclusively for AHA members who are registered and signed into site and have linked their membership.
So how do I link my membership?
- Make sure you are registered on the site and signed in.
- Go to My Account page and scroll to the bottom.
- Enter your AHA membership number and click SUBMIT.
- You will be emailed an activation email with a link that you need to click in order to link your membeship up with your web site registration.
- If you do not receive the email within a few minutes then see the answer below.
I'm trying to 'link' my membership and nothing is happening. What's up?
It could be one of two things. The email address we have associated with your record is not current or we do not have an email address on file for you. An email address is required to link the membership. Either way you'll need to contact us to get this taken care of.
I moved recently. If change my address on My Account page will I get my copy of Zymurgy at my new address?
Yes, if the change was submitted before the address list for the latest issue was sent to the printer. All subsequent magazines will be sent to the most recent address you have submitted to the AHA.
Why do I have to create a new login to participate in Homebrewopedia and the Club Resource area?
To provide the best features to you, we have chosen multiple services which require their own logins.
I can't remember my password for Homebrewopedia/or Club Resource area. Where do I reset it?
Click on the login link from the right side menu of either the Homebrewopedia or Club Resources. Click the link for "Forgot your user name or password?" below the login fields. You will be asked for the email address you used to register for the Homebrewopedia or Club Resources. Once you submit your email address, a message will be sent to you with the user name and password you previously registered with.
