Title: How to Use a Hydrometer
Post by: mikebiewer on April 05, 2010, 08:01:14 pm
I'm still new to brewing, but I've had a couple people ask me why I  use a hydrometer. Aside from wanting to know as much as I can about my beer it is just good practice for my personal notes.

So, I decided to make a "beginners" article to How to Use A Hydrometer (http://mikesbrewreview.com/how-to-use-a-hydrometer/)

The objective was to keep it easy and non intimidating. Let me know your take on it if you like.

Thanks

Looks great!

The only thing I'd add (and you touched on this in the last paragraph) is that for me comparing batch to batch is what I use it for.

when you take a reading from the bottleing bucket is it prior to adding priming sugar?
