Well I have a couple ads up in "wanted to buy" and wanted
to delete the ads cause they are no longer relevant.
I finally had to settle for the resolution of just changing words
in the posts to stuff like...."disregard". I clicked every thing
on the page to try to find the erase icon and no luck. I see
other people doing similar things.
This aspect is not the most user friendly thing....just sayin.

Maybe it just shows up for me because I'm a mod, but in the upper right hand corner of a post I see a red "X" that says remove. Do you see that?

I think it's because you are a mod. The solution...make us all moderators ;D

Do not have that option Denny.

Man, that's weird that there's no way to delete your own posts....hey, other mods, did we disable that when we were having "troubles"?

Yes.

Let's discuss this in the mod forum....

User post deletion has been restored.

but NOT without a few bumps...
Here is what I got when I tried to delete my ad...

You cannot delete your own topics in this board.
Back
And I realize that is because they are topics and not just thread postings.
Still....argggghhhhh

You should be able to delete your own topics now. I just changed the setting.
