Possible exodus to Canada over the next two months might make that happen.  8)

All policies and politics removed, I'm just sad that to some people, MAGA equals the America of George Wallace. Not saying it will happen, but there are a significant number of individuals that wish it would.

Guys, I have some very strong feelings today that I'd love to umm....express, but we know we can't do this here.

Indeed.  Beer is the common denominator here.  Drink a cold one to celebrate or to commiserate.

I think I will.

I'm hitting the high gravity stash tonight.
Cheers everyone.

I might be hung over tomorrow morning. Prefer not to be, but I've been in a lousy mood today. Just want to shut everyone and everything out, lie on my couch with a beer and something like Futurama or the Simpsons.

While we might have a bumpy ride for the next four years, we have a very resilient form of gov't that has survived worse and will survive this and so will we.

Thanks everyone for keeping it civil and obeying the rules.  It's what makes this forum so great!

Well, there is one but they are pretty inactive.

The Canadian government immigration website crashed last night due to overuse.

Do the best you can folks. Best wishes from Canada.

Pm me if its a serious question. It's literally down to one guy that I've judged beer with and I might be able to track him down but I gave up on them a while ago.  But I suspect it wasn't...😀

We should totally tell her about Low O2 brewing and the use of SMB. She would flip.

I live in MN and occasionally throw an "eh?" into my conversation, so I'm already halfway there.  Also I know some good Boundary Waters routes that would make it really easy to border-jump if need be.  Maybe I'll throw a lumberjack flannel into my bug-out bag too.  Eh?

I'll give it six months. One step over the line and it's going to be this for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgaRd4d8hOY

Wow, now there's a flashback, can't even remember the last time I heard that ditty.
For an apolitical forum, this thread has unquestionably been a one sided political vent-fest. Doesn't bother me as I was raised on politics at the dinner table, but I'm amused at how rules can be fudged when faced with groupthink.

Did you bother to read the two moderator posts asking/thanking people to refrain? The only 'groupthink' for me involves keeping things about beer only. ;)

Guys, this thread is in danger of being locked. It's serving no purpose other than violating our rules. Though the concept of beaver anal gland juice is always funny and disgusting.

My 2 cents?

I'm glad my beer has no orange overcomb.

Or was that just a random factoid?

Now I'm confused.

Should I not be glad my beer has no orange overcomb?

Should I actually aspire to brewing beer with an orange overcomb?

Help me out here, I'm not from these parts.

He's a member of "The Party". You aren't supposed to acknowledge each other's existence. Use "newspeak" or be vaporized.

If you use a sufficient amount of castoreum, your beer will indeed get an orange color. So please go ahead.

Narke brewed a beer with beaver spunk one, didn't they? That didn't have an orange overcomb...

The low energy low activity of the Canadian organization probably explains why NHC draws as much competition from our nation's attic as it does.
