Any suggestions for an alternative to a mason jar to stick the end of my blowoff tube into? Thinking about using a keg, but I'd need to get some replacement keg posts. My mason jar keeps tipping over or getting bumped/broken.

I use a growler but that might lead to the same issues.. bigger base, a bit heavier but I'm not sure what your set up/fermentation area looks like/what's causing it to fall over.

I use asmall clamp on a bowl when I need a stable base. I barely submerge the hose, so I avoid suck back issues.

Don't know why you need to change posts if using a keg. Just remove the lid and run your blow off hose into it.

Or leave the lid on and use the CO2 production to purge it of O2.. if you can do a closed transfer in the end.

They're just old pin lock kegs someone gave me, everything else I have is ball lock.

I use a left over 1 gallon distilled water jug filled with starsan placed inside of a 5 gallon bucket. No mess!

I put the hose end into a 1 liter mas. Very heavy and hard to tip over.
