Title: Always check what you buy... (rant/public service anouncment)
Post by: enso on September 18, 2010, 09:03:12 am
So, as I have been wrestling with my co2 leakage issue and ripping apart my entire set-up I noticed something.  My beverage lines which I thought were 3/16 (I paid for 3/16!) are in fact 1/4" ID!  No wonder I was having pour problems.  Sheesh.

I can't remember where they came from exactly as I have bought tubing from many places.  Never assume you got what you ordered/ paid for.  Always check it.

I actually noticed the same thing recently. It was part of a "foam free" cobra tap setup, can't remember where I bought it.

Also if ya get something that is goofed up, you then HAVE TO go thru the rigamarole
of the return/refund/ make it right crap...and to me that is the bad part of these scenarios.

So much simpler to get it right and not have to do it more than once.....blah blah blah >:(

From you Ron, I would expect nothing less. ;)
