Any word on when the sign-up for 2011 NHC will go live?
TIA, Tom

I understand that it will be after the first of the year, but my understanding may be wrong....Gary? Kate? Janis?

The hotel was announced around Oct 31 last year.  Keep checking here for details.

I found out about the hotel last year because I followed Mr. Malty ( Jamil Zanisheff ) on twitter.  I don't think this forum was live until November.  I bet it will be on here as soon as it is announced.

Tickets were definately announced later than that.

Thanks Mike, I missed that too.  See you there :)

Does anyone have any idea whether to book a Garden, Regency/Courtyard, or Royal Palm room at the conference hotel?  I'm not used to having a choice :)

We are booked.   I booked the conference.  The wife booked the hotel.  She wanted the Garden level since that is only 2 stories high.  No probelms with waiting for elevators, if you know what I mean.

I have no idea about the rooms...I'm rooming with a club member and he took care of the accommodations.

Just booked my room in the Royal Palm tower.  Supposedly the biggest rooms and the closest building to the convention center.

Sweet.  I booked blindly and chose the tower!

Is it June yet?

According to the hotel website. The Royal Palms Tower rooms are the closest to the convention center.

Excellent!

I just booked the garden...it's only a few steps out the door to fresh air and sunshine.
We'll have to get together for a brew or two...or three.  ;D

Can't wait!  8)

maybe they can put our AHA logins on our passes or something . . . because I might know that Denny is Denny at the conference, I might not know that dirk_mclargehuge is . . . I don't know who that is :)

<edit> And thanks Denny, I did Royal Palm tower too . . . ;D

I only get two options with the on-line registration: Garden or Regency/Courtyard.  Do you think this means that the Royal Palm Tower is booked up already?

Just don't wait too long, they're not done overnight.  I was in a rush when I got mine, I traded them a keg of my IPA to get it done in a week :)

That was years ago though, maybe they have more in stock now.

That's great!   But Mic, you don't need to bring bottles to club or pro night . . . just a cup ;)

Wouldn't wearing a cup under your kilt be "cheating"?

Maybe I should have said "a glass".  The cup is for drinking out of, not for wearing.  I suppose you could do both.    :o

Are you flying or driving down Mic?  Does your club want to pour at the WAHA booth?

I am flying down.  I'd love to pour some of mine, or another NOBG guys beer, but wouldn't know how to get it down there.  If nothing else, I'd volunteer to man the both.  (I have joined the Yahoo Group - - "sequimbrewer")
